Eporex is described as mesotherapy without needles - what is mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a medical technique whereby a special blend of herbal extracts are injected beneath the skin in order to reverse the physiology of the treated area.

How does mesotherapy work?
Mesotherapy works by supplying the lower layers of the skin with the right ingredients to treat the problem.

What is Eporex mesotherapy?
The Eporex machine sends and electrical wave through the mesotherapy ingredients which pushes them painlessly and harmlessly through your skin without the need for needles - a process known as isophoresis. Consequently, Eporex is a completely non invasive procedure.

Which conditions can Eporex treat?
Eporex is suitable for the treatment of cellulite, weight loss, bust firming, toning, tightening, stretch marks and anti-aging.

How many treatments would I need?
A course of 7 treatments is recommended

Can I have Eporex whilst I am breastfeeding?
No, its best to wait until you have stopped breastfeeding to have this treatment.
Do I have to follow a special diet whilst having mesotherapy treatments?
Whilst on the weight-loss programme, a special eating plan and exercise is recommended. No special diet is needed for any of the other treatments.

What is the difference between Erayser and Epil-pro?
Erayser uses a light sensitive liquid to reduce hair growth by destroying the hair root, whereas Epil-pro works with sound wave technology, introducing a current to individual hairs to kill its nutrient supply. Both treatments can be used on any area of the body, but Epil-pro is better for smaller areas such as the upper lip, eyebrow areas whereas Erayser is great for larger areas.
Is it painful?
No-Erayser is completely painless and Epil-pro is relatively pain-free.

What type of skin can the treatments be used on?

Both treatments are suitable for all skin and hair types. There are no restrictions

Are there any side effects?

None whatsoever. both treatments are completely non invasive so have no side effects.

Can I go into the sun after treatment?

Yes, it is completely safe to go in the sun following Erayser and Epil-pro.

How should I decide which treatment is right for me?
Once your skin has been assessed at the initial consultation, we can recommend the most suitable treatment for you.

How many treatments will I need?
Like everything, it depends on the condition of the skin and also the treatment recommended. Some treatments are weekly for 6 weeks, while some have to be taken twice a week for 2 weeks and others are twice a week for 3 weeks. It varies.

Are there any side effects to the treatments?
The treatments are completely safe, there are no side effects whatsoever.

Can I go out in the sun after a treatment?
You can go into the sun straight away after your treatment, although obviously we recommend you use sun protection.

Can I wear make up after my treatment?
Yes you can use make up and skin products straight after your treatment.

Should I have facials during the Course?
No, that is unnecessary and not recommended. Your Course of treatments is designed specifically for your skin type, so adding in other programmes may interfere with the process.
Should I use the home care products?
Yes, it is important to use the homecare products whenever recommended as they are part of the treatment.
